# Blacklist User

> Blacklist an existing key, and the HWID linked to it (if any).

## Endpoint

`POST https://api.luarmor.net/v3/projects/{project_id}/users/blacklist`

## Path parameters

## Request body

| `user_key` | string | Yes | Key to blacklist |
| `ban_reason` | string | No | Reason for the blacklist, shown to the user when they run the script. |
| `ban_expire` | int32 | No | Unix timestamp of when the ban expires. Set it to `-1` or leave it out for a permanent ban. |

  Blacklisting assigns the key an `unban_token`, which you can use with [Unban User](/api-reference/endpoint/user-management/unban-user). You can find it in the user objects returned by [Get Users](/api-reference/endpoint/user-management/get-users).
